Void Filling Concrete

Voids underneath concrete are typically due to severe wash out of the underlying soil leaving an empty space between the concrete and the remaining ground. This can cause major cracking as cars or heavy loads drive over the unsupported concrete.

Using Foam To Void Fill Concrete

Void filling using polyurethane foam is a simple yet long term solution. The process begins with small ⅜ inch holes drilled in a grid pattern in order to have optimal coverage. Polyurethane liquid is injected into the ground. As the liquid finds the path of least resistance it expands and hardens leaving a lightweight yet high density block of foam.

Benefits of Void Filling Concrete With Polyurethane Foam:

  • Injected as a liquid so that it fills the void based on path of least resistance
  • Strong and durable (only breaks down under UV light)
  • Water-resistant
  • Quick solution with no excavation
  • Cost-effective compared to replacement
  • Can reach depths up to 15 feet
  • Prevents cracking or further structural issues
